Religion and politics don’t mix. Ever heard that load of crap? I have, for years now. As a Christian, it has been used against me repeatedly to shush my political views. It is almost as much BS (bogus statement) as ‘You can’t legislate morality.’ (ALL laws are morals)

                I’m just going to be honest up front and tell you that all of my opinions are formed by my belief system. Well, they are! Just like everybody else in the world with an opinion. Even the atheist informs his views and politics from his faith. (His faith that there is no God)

                So, because I believe deeply that there is a God and that He is active in the affairs of men and nations (like the Founding Fathers did), I am going to get my opinion from the fount of wisdom that is the Almighty. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am a card-carrying member of the Religious Right. One day I aspire to become a member of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy. (but they won’t tell me where they meet, not yet.)

                If I sit by and watch my government legislate me into being an outlaw, I have abandoned my faith. If I don’t stand up for common-sense legislation and against harmful laws, then I have not been faithful to my beliefs. So, here I am to make my stand. Love me or hate me, The Right Rev. Rowland has a lot to say, and I hope you’ll enjoy the ride.
